FOX, MSNBC, CNN have all apparently deviated from a focus on journalism and navigated themselves into the world of "entertainment". These mediums are now notorious for incomplete stories and insensitive rhetoric towards the African-American community, especially when dealing with social ills affecting America (i.e. domestic terrorism, racism, and disenfranchisement). Ironically, comedians like Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle, Jon Stewart, Bill Maher and D.L. Hughley, have seemingly pushed social commentary much further than most major news outlets have proven capable. Is comedic activism a real thing?
